Morrison County Busted Booking Records
Every busted booking record in Morrison County starts at the jail. The paperwork picks up a photo, a name, and a booking number. Charges, bond terms, and custody notes get added too. The Sheriff's Office runs both the jail and its record system. The roster is a snapshot of who is in custody right now. It is not a courthouse summary. A case can shift a great deal once a judge gets involved.
The official Morrison County Jail page describes a continuous adult detention center with 148 beds. That capacity matters. The jail boards inmates for other jurisdictions, so a name on the list may belong to someone another county sent over rather than a person a Morrison County deputy arrested.
One more split is worth knowing. The live custody list comes from the jail page. An older booking record may sit with the Sheriff's Office after release.
Numbers from the Sheriff's 2025 annual report give a sense of deputy activity. Deputies made 212 arrests. That total breaks into 192 adults and 20 juveniles. DUI arrests numbered 70. Liquor-law arrests came to 26, and drug or narcotic arrests to 24. These figures count deputy work only, since the jail also books people arrested by municipal officers or held as boarders.
Morrison County Booking Record Fields
For a live booking, the LETG display shows every field worth checking. Names repeat. Match several identifiers before trusting a match. Look closely at a charge row. It may carry a court date or a bond already received. It may show a dismissed count. It may list an out date beside a hold that keeps someone in custody. Status labels like these tell the story of why a person is still there, though the court file remains the last word on outcome.
| Field | What the Morrison County record can show |
|---|---|
| Photo | An image link when one is served for the current entry. |
| MNI and name | The LETG master-number identifier and the name displayed last-name first. |
| Sex and age | Identity details used to distinguish close name matches. |
| Booking number | The intake record identifier to preserve for a records request. |
| Intake date | The date and time of jail intake, not necessarily the arrest time. |
| Charges | Alleged offense, class or degree, statute citation, and charge-level status. |
| Bail or bond | Amounts, conditions, received amounts, next court date, and out-date details where supplied. |
| Holds | Boarder, warrant-hold, or another county information when present. |
Three terms do a lot of work here. Booking is the intake step that follows an arrest. Bond shows the financial or conditional release status attached to a charge. Disposition is what the court ultimately decides. Keeping them straight stops a custody entry from being read as something the court already ruled on.
Morrison County Busted Record Requests
When someone has been released, or the roster no longer shows the photo you need, the Sheriff's Records Unit is the right stop. The official request form wants your contact details plus the incident date, location, and a thorough description. Spell out the person's full name, any booking number or MNI you have, and roughly when the arrest happened. State plainly what you want: the booking record and booking photograph.
For agency contact, the Sheriff's Office page names the county office behind the jail and all countywide law-enforcement records.
Pick the right channel. Copies go through the records request. A call to the jail works fine for a present-custody question. Just remember that a phone answer never substitutes for the written request when you need the actual booking record or photo.

Report copies cost $0.25 per page under the published fee schedule. No separate photo fee or turnaround guarantee appears anywhere in county materials. So ask first. Request an estimate and confirm whether an electronic image exists before you authorize any charge.
- Record the full name, approximate booking date, booking number, or MNI from the roster if available.
- Describe the requested booking record and photograph, including whether an electronic or paper copy is preferred.
- Submit the form and provide a contact method for a clarification or cost estimate.
- If material is withheld, ask the custodian to identify the legal basis and release the remaining public data.
Note: A precise incident date, location, and record description help the Records Unit find the right Morrison County file faster.
Morrison County Booking Photo Law
Minnesota's Government Data Practices Act, Chapter 13, is the foundation. Minnesota Statutes section 13.82 makes adult arrest data public at the agency that created them. A booking photo is public too, unless its release would harm an active investigation. That explains the Photo column on the Morrison County roster. What it does not promise is a permanent public gallery. Nor does it require instant posting of every image.
Court action can change things later, and Minnesota Chapter 609A governs that path. Expungement seals the records within an order's scope rather than destroying them. An independent copy online does not update by itself. Eligibility turns on the specifics of each case, so the court's own criminal-expungement materials are the place to find forms and procedure.
Independent publishers offer no-fee correction routes tied to official or court action. RecentlyBooked's published policy covers dismissed, sealed, expunged, incorrect, outdated, wrong-person, juvenile, and duplicate entries, with proof requested. Mugshots.com's record-maintenance policy outlines a free, evidence-based process for certain updates and removals. These belong to the publishers, not Morrison County. Get the official correction or court order first, then send it to the publisher and pursue a search-result refresh only after the source record itself changes.
Never treat a payment demand from an unknown publisher as a stand-in for an agency correction, a court order, or a documented no-fee process.
Morrison County Busted Mugshot Search
Where you search depends on custody status. Someone possibly still held? Start with the current Morrison County roster. Check the exact name, age, MNI, booking number, and intake date before opening the photo field. If the name has dropped off the list, do not assume the arrest never happened. Move instead to the records request and the court path.
- Open the Morrison County Jail page and select Current Inmate List to reach the in-custody roster.
- Review every listed charge and hold, including boarder or outside-county wording.
- Use the Sheriff’s Records Unit for a past booking or an online photo that is absent.
- Search MCRO by case number or name for the later disposition, then use MNDOC with the exact six-digit ID for an adult under state corrections jurisdiction.
- Use the BOP or ICE locator only when the separate federal or immigration custody system is relevant.
People move through many systems. County custody today, release tomorrow, then perhaps state prison supervision, federal custody, or an immigration hold. Each state keeps its own records. No later database replaces the original Morrison County booking file, so trace everything back to it.
Morrison County Busted Roster Details
Morrison County keeps one official view of who is currently in custody: the LETG roster. Each row carries a server timestamp plus columns for Photo, MNI, Name, Sex, Age, Booking #, Intake Date, Charges, and Bail/Bond. A name search helps, but treat it as a first step. Confirm exact or near matches with the booking number and intake date before drawing conclusions. One caution, though. The interface shows current custody only, so it is not a full log of every booking inside a set time window.
The live Morrison County In Custody roster is where the county posts that display, photo field included.
The roster interface includes a photo column and detailed custody fields. It does not appear here as a person-by-person gallery. For any current entry, the official roster is the place to check.
| Visible field or control | Safe use |
|---|---|
| Available name search | Review close matches; the accessible inputs are not labeled as separate first- or last-name fields. |
| Photo | Whether an image is displayed for the current entry. |
| MNI, name, sex, and age | Identity details that distinguish similar names. |
| Booking # and Intake Date | The best pair for a records request and timing check. |
| Charges and Bail/Bond | Charges, charge-level status, bond conditions, and separate holds. |
Photos arrive on no fixed schedule here. Morrison County publishes neither an exact posting cadence nor a set period that entries stay online, and data entry can lag behind an intake. Released people drop off the list, while someone held on a long-running matter may sit there for weeks with an old intake date. The jail also boards inmates for other agencies, so a different county's hold can show up in the Bail/Bond text. Read those labels carefully before connecting a listing to a Morrison County arrest.
Note: A missing photo on the live roster does not mean none exists; the Records Unit can say whether a public image is available.
Morrison County Bond Status Records
The Bail/Bond area tells a more detailed story than one number. It may list a set amount, a conditional amount, cash or bond already received, release conditions, a next court date, an out date, or a separate hold. Read each charge separately. One charge can be dismissed and an out date can pass while another charge, or an outside hold, still keeps the person in custody.
There is no universal bond schedule published here. Nor does the county promise an exact moment a bond-out vanishes from the roster. Bond figures describe the custody condition shown at that time, nothing more.
Morrison County Busted Arrest Feeds
For same-day information, the current-custody roster is the only official channel. Morrison County offers no 24-hour, 48-hour, or weekly new-bookings feed. That gap matters. A current roster can hold older intake dates, and someone booked and released within hours may never appear at all. Calling it a daily arrest log would mislabel it.
The Sheriff Office News archive works as the multi-day fallback. Dated, selective releases cover public safety, investigations, crashes, and some arrests, but the archive is not a complete booking index and carries no uniform photo, booking-number, or charge format. The county also runs Notify Me subscriptions for Sheriff news, though no sheriff or jail app advertising booking-photo access exists.
The Brainerd Dispatch police blotter adds a local-news layer. It separates Little Falls police activity from Morrison County Sheriff work and often reports times, locations, and ages. Booking photos are not routine there.
Morrison County Busted Mugshot Channels
Each official channel answers a different question. The roster answers who is in custody right now. For a past booking or a photo missing online, the Records Unit is the right call. Sheriff news offers selected dated releases. Court records, in turn, follow the case after booking. A photo, when one exists, is simply not a case outcome.
| Channel | Photo? | Status and access |
|---|---|---|
| LETG In Custody roster | Photo field when served | Official current-custody source. |
| Sheriff’s Records Unit | Ask for availability | Official request route for past booking records and photographs. |
| Sheriff Office News | Not routine | Official, dated, selective incident and arrest releases. |
| MCRO court record | No booking-photo purpose | Official court access route for case activity and disposition limits. |
| MNDOC Public Viewer | Not promised | Official adult DOC jurisdiction record, not county booking custody. |
| Brainerd Dispatch | Not routine | Secondary local reporting, not a booking archive. |
| County-local aggregators | May display images | Unofficial, potentially stale or incomplete discovery leads only. |
Sites like RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, Mugshots.com, and Arre.st republish jail material from many counties. None is an official Morrison County custody record. Before trusting any secondary entry, check it against the roster, the Records Unit, or a court record. BustedNewspaper and Mugshots.zone have no verified Morrison County section. A generic state page there is not local coverage. Another county's page is not either.
Morrison County Custody Record Alerts
Minnesota VINE covers the county-jail custody stage. It runs custody-status checks and sends release or status-change alerts for people held in county jails. Treat it as a notification service, not a photo archive. It won't hand you a booking photo or replace the jail roster when you need the current booking record.
For the official statewide route, use Minnesota VINE. Phone access is 877-664-8463.
VINE fits when a release, transfer, escape, death, or other custody change matters to you. Minnesota Haven works at a later stage. It tracks MNDOC prison and supervision cases, so it is not the county-jail alert tool.
Morrison County DOC Record Search
The Minnesota Department of Corrections Public Viewer serves a different population. It covers adults committed to the Commissioner of Corrections who remain under DOC jurisdiction, whether locked up or supervised after prison. It is not a just-booked Morrison County jail search. Look people up by first and last name or by the full six-digit MNDOC Offender ID. Freshly sentenced people may take several business days to appear.
For the official state-custody search, use the MNDOC Public Viewer.
The Viewer can show state custody and sentence details, but a booking photo is not guaranteed there. It also does not replace the county's original booking record. For that, go back to the county.
Federal custody runs through a different system. The BOP Inmate Locator covers federal inmates. It is not a Morrison County booking-photo source either.
Immigration custody has its own route through the ICE Online Detainee Locator, which requires exact identity details to search. Neither BOP nor ICE replaces a county roster entry for Morrison County bookings.
Morrison County Booking Court Path
Once someone is booked, four details matter most: the booking number, the intake date, the charge citation, and the court date. Write them down. Then search Minnesota Court Records Online by case number or by name. You can pull up the register of Actions, hearing listings, and whatever documents have been filed. Disposition details live on the court side of the ledger. For certified copies, contact Morrison County District Court directly, since the jail roster does not produce them.
The district court posts its calendar on business days and refreshes it hourly, though changes and restricted matters may be left out. Case-number searches beat name searches when the name is common. MCRO also has remote-access gaps. Some pending criminal, traffic, and petty-misdemeanor cases without a conviction can be missing from a defendant-name search even when a case-number search finds them.
Morrison County Record Limits
A public adult roster never shows everyone touched by law enforcement in Morrison County. The annual report's adult and juvenile totals make that plain. Juvenile records follow their own access rules. So do victim information, sealed or expunged files, and active-investigation material. A listed age tells you nothing about protected information held elsewhere.
A missing photo deserves the same patience. Under Section 13.82, an agency can withhold material during an active investigation if release would harm the work. For any specific record, ask the custodian directly. Find out what can be released, and what legal basis covers anything withheld.
Morrison County Booking Archives
Morrison County has published no fixed retention period for booking photos. The current roster shows present custody only. The Sheriff's news page is a dated release archive, not a full booking archive. For older material, go through the Records Unit. Court records can confirm how a case ended.
Jail records with historical value open a second path. Start with the county inquiry first. Then contact the Minnesota State Archives and the Morrison County Historical Society. State archives guidance treats jail registers and similar law-enforcement series as potential historical records, subject to privacy controls and retention rules. No verified online collection of historical Morrison County mugshots exists. Ask about record location, approximate years, access limits, and copying options instead of assuming one does.
Note: A historical jail register can show a commitment or discharge without revealing current custody or yielding a releasable booking photograph.
Morrison County Busted City Records
Little Falls, Pierz, and Royalton are Morrison County's three featured incorporated cities. None runs a public booking-photo feed. A city arrest that ends in county detention goes on the Morrison County roster. The Records Unit also stays a reliable route for custody and booking records. The local police department may still hold the incident report itself.
- Little Falls Busted Mugshots: Little Falls Police has its own records path; county detention records go through Morrison County.
- Pierz Busted Mugshots: Pierz police contact and county dispatch provide the local starting point, with county jail records following the booking destination.
- Royalton Busted Mugshots: Royalton’s city police contact and after-hours sheriff transfer help identify the right record custodian.
A city name alone proves little. It won't tell you which agency made the arrest. It won't say which county holds the case either. Check the report, roster, or Records Unit before treating a city reference as the complete record. Confirm the agency and custody status first.
